Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza has blamed political witch hunt for the woes befalling her family, as detectives continue with the probe into the murder of Meru blogger Bernard Muthiai alias ‘Sniper’. The Governor has expressed confidence that security organs investigating the case will unearth the truth about the real murderers of the slain Meru blogger. The Governor’s husband Murega Baichu and two other relatives were on Sunday questioned by detectives investigating the murder of the Meru blogger known as ‘Sniper’. Lady Justice Abigail Mshila granted the prosecution 2 days to complete their investigations and present the suspects in court of Friday 19th for plea taking. The blogger disappeared on December 2 last year before his body was discovered two weeks later.
