A sombre mood engulfed Umoja 2 village casino in Molo, Nakuru County, after 24 year old Beatrice Wairimu and her 8 year old daughter Angel Wairimu were burnt to death when their house caught fire in the wee hours of Saturday. The relatives suspect that the fire might have been ignited by a candle their daughter was using to light her bedroom. Police officers led by Molo OCS and DCI officers visited the scene and moved the bodies of the two to Molo Sub-county hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy as they commence investigations into the cause of the fire.
