Bodaboda riders operating within Kitengela town in Kajiado County must register with the relevant governing bodaboda association and their names submitted to the security committee. The directive by top security officials in the county has been issued after a crisis meeting that was held between the riders and security officers amid a major ongoing crackdown on riders suspected to have been involved in assaulting a motorist last week.
