Meru county leaders want the government to intervene in the repossession of grabbed land, that is part of the Mitunguu airstrip. The leaders including Governor Kawira Mwangaza and South Imenti MP Shadrack Mwiti, say 140 acres have been grabbed by private individuals. The leaders who spoke in Imenti South, where President William Ruto commissioned the Mitunguu ICT lab, have pledged to support the government.
