Made in Kenya | Entrepreneur uses banana stems to make carrier bags

Bananas are one of the major meals in Kenyan homesteads, especially those in the Western part of the country. While most farmers are growing the crop for consumption and sale, a young entrepreneur in Bungoma is now making the most out of Banana stems, as she turns them into carrier bags in a bid to end the scourge of single-use plastic bags.
