The speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula has filed a notice of appeal at the Supreme Court seeking to challenge the decision of the court of appeal on halting the housing levy. This notwithstanding the Kenya Union of Post-Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) is calling on the government to refund the housing levy that has been remitted on behalf of the members in compliance with a court ruling that termed the levy unconstitutional.
