In a bid to enhance ecotourism in the Mida Creek area of Kilifi County, conservationists have launched Sita Sunset, a new restaurant situated in the Mangrove-rich surroundings.
The community actively participated in the initiative by placing mangrove seedlings at the entrance of Sita Sunset, providing tourists with the opportunity to adopt or engage in planting activities as part of ongoing conservation efforts.
The ceremonial launch was led by Kilifi North MP Owen Baya who commended the community for spearheading this initiative, emphasizing its potential benefits for local businesses and farmers in Kilifi.
