Wapalestina walikimbilia kupata magunia ya unga Jumatatu (Februari 19) kutoka kituo cha kugawa chakula kinacho endeshwa na Umoja wa Mataifa katika mji ulioangamizwa wa Gaza.
“Tunakufa kwa njaa na hakuna chakula au maji yaliyobakia Gaza, kuna njaa,” alisema Abdullah Sawaf.
Shambulizi la anga na ardhini linalofanywa na Israel limeharibu sehemu kubwa ya Ukanda wa Gaza na kuwalazimisha karibu wakaazi wote kukimbia makazi yao.
Vita vilivyoanzishwa na shambulizi la Hamas huko Kusini mwa Israel Oktoba 7 ambapo watu 1,200 waliuawa na wengine 253 kutekwa, kulingana na Israel.
Ikiapa kuitokomeza Hamas, Israel imejibu mashambulizi hayo kwa mashambulizi ya anga na ardhini ambayo kwa mujibu wa hesabu za Gaza imeuwa zaidi ya Wapalestina 29,000 na kujeruhi zaidi ya watu 69,000.
