'Two warriors': the conjoined twins who hung on to life - BBC Africa
When twin sisters Marieme and Ndeye were born conjoined, doctors didn’t expect them to live more than a few days.
Seven years onwards, their father Ibrahima says that, as time went by, both their family and the doctors that treated them realised that "we are going to deal with warriors''.
The sisters were allowed to remain in the UK for medical care. Their mother is in Senegal to look after the rest of the children.
Produced by Lucy Owen and Rick Hartley for BBC Wales.
Edited by Ellen Tsang.
