ODM MPs say Raila is fit to serve as AU Commission chairman

    A section of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya leaders have backed Azimio la Umoja-Omne Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga's bid to vie for the Africa Union chairmanship. The leaders have expressed their confidence in Raila to bid for the seat. Speaking at Kolal Village, Kasipul Kabondo constituency in Homa Bay county during the funeral service of Alice Opee, sister to Ramogi TV news editor Kenn Muga, the leaders led by Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang' exuded confidence in Raila's bid saying he is the most qualified to lead the continent into prosperity and unity. Nyamira Senator Okong'o Omogeni also expressed his support and warned that Raila's exit from Kenyan politics won't weaken the opposition in defending mwananchi against oppressive decisions by the government.
