The media fraternity mourning after losing veteran journalist Joe Kadhi

The media fraternity is tonight mourning after losing veteran journalist Joe Kadhi. Kadhi died early today and was buried as per Muslim rites. The deceased started his journalism career decades ago at the nation media group before becoming a lecturer at the University of Nairobi, United States International University, USIU, and Addis Ababa University neighboring Ethiopia. Kadhi who died at the age of 82 has been described as a teacher, and mentor who contributed immensely to the growth of journalism in the country. He was a pioneer journalist who emerged immediately after Kenya got its independence. Top leaders have sent messages of condolences to the family, relatives, and friends of the late Joe Kadhi.
