15-year-old Sonia Shilisia a high school student aspiring to be a doctor is battling sickle cell anemia. A genetic red blood cell disorder that has claimed four of her siblings as she struggles to raise 8 million shillings to undergo a lifesaving bone marrow transplant in India. Sonia who is from a single parent family following the death of her father is banking on well-wishers to assist her in raising the funds to undergo the crucial surgery.
