Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang has announced that the Ministry of Education will disburse the remaining 25% of the capitation for the first term within the next ten days. Kipsang today appeared before the National Assembly public accounts committee, which raised concerns over the ministry's failure to distribute the full 50% allocation. This comes days after the Kenya National Union of Teachers demanded immediate disbursement of the funds to prevent a crisis in learning institutions.
