The Azimio coalition has raised the alarm on the possible collapse of the education sector due to incessant delays by the government in releasing school capitation. Opposition members of parliament are demanding the immediate release of capitation money owed to schools, Azimio MPs accused the education CS Ezekiel Machogu of making unfulfilled promises, to the detriment of learners in the country.
