Kisii leaders urge youth to register as voters ahead of 2027 polls

A section of elected leaders in Kisii County has raised concern over the low turnout for voter registration and called on the youth to register with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ahead of the 2027 polls. Their appeal follows assurances from IEBC Chairman Ethekon, who launched the continuous voter registration exercise and promised a credible register for the upcoming elections.
