High Court Judge Nixon Sifuna Dealt the latest blow to the director of public prosecutions by refusing to recuse himself from hearing an application seeking to review a magistrate’s court decision that declined to withdraw a corruption case against former Kenya Pipeline Managing Director Charles Tanui and two others. The Director of Public Prosecutions had made the application after trial Magistrate Victor Wakumile declined an earlier request to withdraw charges against the accused.
