The main prison in Kisii is set to be relocated away from the town in a move aimed at providing space to expand the town. This was revealed by the Cabinet Secretary for Interior Kithure Kindiki who is on a tour in Kisii. Kindiki says plans are ongoing to source for an alternative piece of land within the region. The relocation will be conducted jointly with the county government.
