Students from underprivileged families in Laikipia West constituency have benefitted from over 45 million shillings in bursaries. Area Member of Parliament Wachira Karani issued the cheques at Bishop Louis Secondary School in Nyahururu town where he clarified that the kitty will benefit students from the constituency. He was responding to queries from tens of parents from neighbouring constituencies who had come to the venue in the hope of securing bursaries for their children.
