The High Court has issued orders barring the Directorate of Criminal Investigations from arresting or detaining the former sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa. While issuing the orders, High court Judge Diana Kavedza directed that after discharge from hospital, the former CS should be escorted by his advocates to the DCI offices for investigations and interrogations. Elsewhere, Wazir Benson Masubo who purported to be a legal officer in the office of the first lady has been remanded until the 18th of April this year. Details in the Scales of Justice Segment.
