A man who died two weeks before his wedding has been buried on his wedding day today at Rukenya, Gichugu constituency, Kirinyaga county. The late Martin Gitari who had planned the wedding since January, died after a short illness. In an unusual turn of events during his burial, the bride Beatrice Muthoni wore her wedding gown and alongside her dressed bridesmaids she walked down the aisle, where the bridegroom lay in his casket and tied the knot. Thereafter there was cake cutting, gifting, followed by a procession to the burial, where they laid the late Gitari to rest. here is more
