4% of public institutions meet the mandated reservation of employment for persons with disabilities

Only 4% of public institutions meet the mandated 5% reservation of employment for persons living with disabilities. This is according to a report by the National Council for Persons with Disabilities, which indicates that as of July 2022, only 35% of institutions had employed persons with disabilities, further highlighting the need for continued efforts towards disability inclusion in the country.
