Schools across the country will re-open for second term as scheduled despite the ongoing rains, with the government saying it will put in place necessary measures to ensure safety of learners. In Nairobi flood victims who have sought refuge in learning institutions will be relocated to three designated camps of Masinde Muliro Grounds in Huruma , Mavoko assistant chiefs camp and in Kasarani and the same replicated in other regions in the country. But with the rains unrelenting, victims displaced by floods tell of their pain and suffering with a call to the government to intervene and avert a humanitarian crisis.
