Selfless people who risked their lives to rescue people in the Mai Mahiu tragedy

The number of fatalities from the Mai Mahiu tragedy stands at more than 50. Still, this number could have been higher, maybe, thanks to several bold people who risked it all to save lives on the tragic morning when flood waters from the hills of Kijabe came down wiping out four villages.
