The stalemate between doctors and the government continued after the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Pharmacists union refused to sign a return to work formula. In a meeting with the whole of the nation's approach committee that went on late into the night, accusations and counter-accusations from both parties led to a deadlock. KMPDU insists that the strike is still on, accusing the government of failure to commit to timelines of implementation of the issues raised, on the strike notice.
