A multi-agency team in Bomet County has successfully evacuated more than 170 residents of flood-hit villages of Raiya in Bomet East and Chebirir in Chepalungu to safer places. The team comprises the Kenya Red Cross, Bomet County government, and the national government through the office of the county commissioner.
