Film stakeholders have been challenged to focus on high quality productions and eliminate barriers to entry that hinder investments in the industry. This was the clarion call during the inauguration of a temporary Secretariat of the African Audio Visual and Cinema Commission in Nairobi. The secretariat will be tasked with promoting research, distribution and protection of African films and indigenous knowledge.
