Chama cha walimu wa shule za upili, KUPPET, kimeunga mkono maandamano ya walimu watarajali wa shule za upili za awali (JSS) huku wakitaka mgao wa bajeti wa mwaka ujao uongezwe ili walimu hao wapate mapato bora na mikataba ya kudumu. Hatahivyo huenda matakwa hayo yasitekelezwe kufuatia upungufu wa shilingi bilioni 15.4 katika bajeti iliyopendekezwa ya JSS ya mwaka ujao. Licha ya hayo walimu watarajali wameapa kusimama kidete hadi masuala yao yakiwemo malipo bora yatatuliwe.
