Mkurugenzi mkuu mpya wa shirika la utangazaji la Kenya KBC Agnes Kalekye ameahidi kutumia tajriba yake katika tasnia ya habari kuongoza shirika hili katika kuafiki kiwango cha juu katika utoaji huduma. Kalekye aliyechukua wadhifa huo leo baada ya kuteuliwa wikendi iliyopita, amesema atashirikiana na wafanyakazi na usimamizi wa KBC kwa manufaa ya shirika hili. Anachukua nafasi hiyo kutoka kwa Paul Macharia ambaye amekuwa akihudumu kama kaimu mkurugenzi mkuu wa shirika hili. Kabla ya uteuzi wake, Kalekye alikuwa afisa mkuu wa huduma katika shirika la Radio Africa, na pia mwenyekiti wa chama cha wamiliki wa vyombo vya habari nchini Kenya. Ni mwanamke wa kwanza kabisa kuhudumu katika wadhifa huo tangu kuanzishwa kwa shirika hili.
