The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation's new Managing Director Agnes Kalekye has committed to using her vast experience in the media industry to propel the National Broadcaster to great heights in terms of service delivery. Kalekye who assumed the office on Monday after her appointment to the position last weekend, committed to work and cooperate with the KBC staff and management to achieve the best for the national broadcaster. She takes over from Paul Macharia who has been the corporation’s MD in an acting capacity. Before her appointment, Kalekya served as Chief Operations Officer at Radio Africa group and also as the chair of the Media Owners Association of Kenya. She is the first woman to serve at the helm of KBC since its inception
