Nearly half a million people in informational settlements within Nairobi are set to access sewerage services, thanks to the implementation of the second phase of the Nairobi Sewerage Improvement Project. The sanitation improvement project has set the stage for the expansion and rehabilitation of the city’s sewer network as well as resulted in the construction and rehabilitation of 50 abolition blocks in public schools and health facilities in informal settlements.
