Wajir County First Lady Rukia Abdinassir has pledged to ensure that no girl misses schooling due to menstruation. Speaking during the World Menstrual Day at Khalif girl's secondary school Rukia said the current administration has allocated funds for sanitary distribution in schools. She also took the opportunity to distribute free sanitary towels to the girls, adding a similar exercise will be replicated in primary schools in all 6 sub-counties within this county.
