Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua is dismissing claims of a crisis in UDA occasioning a meeting called by President William Ruto on Saturday afternoon and Monday. Speaking during a fundraising ceremony in Kericho, the second in command said the meeting was planned, as guided by the party leader, to discuss the strengthening of the party's development ideology. Gachagua has also told off UDA politicians running succession campaigns ahead of the next elections.
