Agro-forestry is gaining traction among farmers in Arid and Semi-Arid Lands who have embraced it as an avenue to grow trees in line with the push to have a 15-billion tree cover by 2032. Our reporter Judith Akolo reports on how farmers in Mutomo, Kitui County are not only growing trees but also leveraging on it as a retirement plan and insurance for old age.
