In 1972 when the Anti-tank Ground Missile Battalion, a sub unit of the 76th battalion was established in Gilgil, Nakuru, Sergeant Retired Reverend Ruben Kibiwott was one of the soldiers who served in the new unit as a store man. Kibiwott had previously served as a paratrooper for seven years from 1972. Ben Troy Njue caught up with the military veteran in his home in Gilgil for this week’s edition of MILITARY TALES.
