Amani National Congress, ANC, a party associated with Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has agreed to fold and merge with President William Ruto-led United Democratic Movement, UDA. The planned merger was announced at State House after a meeting between both parties’ top officials. President Ruto praised the move as a cure for ethnic politics while Mudavadi insisted that ANC was looking to become part of the larger political formation ahead of the 2027 general elections. The merger now puts to rest speculations of a merger between the two Kenya Kwanza affiliate parties as Giverson Maina now reports
