Private security guards are set to go on strike in 3 weeks if their employer fails to implement the 30,000 shilling minimum wage bill.This was announced by the secretary general of the Kenya National Private Security Workers Union Isaac Andabwa as he issued a 21 day strike notice. Andabwa is calling on the Private Security Regulatory Authority to fast-track reforms to improve the pay and working conditions of private security guards.
