Internally Displaced Persons in Kisii County now want the government to expedite their compensation to enable them to return to normal and dignified lives. Speaking during the World Refugee Day celebrations at Riana Market in Kisii South Sub County, local IDPs Coordinator James Oroo said most of the IDPs were living in deplorable conditions. Sentiments were echoed by a section of the IDP’s who now want the government to come to their help.
