The Revolt against the Finance Bill 2024 was transferred from the Streets to Social Media, where at its peak, more than fifty five thousand Kenyans participated in the more than 10 hours of conversation to push for the release of digital influencer, Billy Simani. On the X space, the Conveners of the Online Platform castigated the Government and Police for the Arbitrary Arrests of Digital personalities whose actions helped propel the 'Occupy Parliament' protests on Thursday. The also used the platform to rally Kenyans to participate in next week's planned demonstrations aimed at stopping the finance bill from being passed by Parliament.
