According to Buuri West Sub County Police Commander Laura Imbacha, a truck lost control and hit pedestrians who were on the roadside. The six died on the spot while an unknown number of injured persons were been taken to various hospitals for treatment. Bodies of the deceased were taken to Nanyuki General Hospital Mortuary for preservation.
