Government goes against pledge to end extrajudicial conduct

The Kenya human rights commission is calling for the unconditional and immediate release of activists abducted by security agents for their perceived role in the protests against the finance bill. The human rights body demands come as those deemed to be leading the protests continue to be abducted and released without charges. So far, three digital personalities have been abducted in a space of three days in relation to the protests
