Kiambu County has begun rehabilitating roads at Juja South Estate and Gwa Kigwi villages in Juja sub-county, after the recent heavy rains that rendered the area inaccessible. Speaking during the inspection of the rehabilitation works, Kalimoni ward MCA Godfrey Mucheke said the County Government has also deployed earthmovers in the villages to rehabilitate the roads to murram standards with plans to tarmac the stretch between Juja-Juja Farm Road and Thika Superhighway. Locals hailed the project noting that it was long overdue as the poor state of the roads had taken a heavy toll on business.
