1,210 intern doctors are set to be posted and commence their internship by the first of August this year. This is after the signing of an addendum between the Ministry of Health and the Kenya Medical practitioners, pharmacists and Dentists union amidst ongoing negotiations. The Ministry was represented by public health and professional standards principal secretary Mary Muthoni while the union`s secretary general Dr Davji Atelah represented KMPDU.
