A notice of motion to impeach Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza has been tabled at the Meru County assembly. The motion tabled by Zipporah Kinya, a nominated member of the assembly is accusing the governor misappropriation of county public funds and misuse of public office. This is the third year in a row that governor Mwangaza has faced impeachment since assuming office in 2022.
