It is a sigh of relief for University students after the Ministry of Education nullified the previous fee structure that would have required parents to pay the full cost of each degree programme. In a statement principal secretary in the state department for higher education and research Dr. Beatrice Inyangala said they will receive the new fee structures that will be paid by each student as household contribution from the 5th of August 2024. This comes amid an uproar over the proposed fees.
