Al-Jazeera: Mwandishi na mpiga picha wauwawa katika shambulizi la Israel
Kituo cha televisheni cha Qatar Al Jazeera kimesema Jumatano (Julai 31) kuwa mwandishi wake Ismail al-Ghoul na mpiga picha Ramy El Rify waliuwawa katika shambulizi lililofanywa na Israel mjini Gaza City.
Anas Al-Sharif, rafiki wa waandishi wawili waliofariki, aliiambia Al-Jazeera kuwa Ghoul na Rifi walikuwa wako kazini wakipiga picha karibu na nyumba ya Ismail Haniyeh, kamanda wa Hamas aliyeuwawa Iran mapema Jumatano katika shambulizi ambalo kikundi hicho cha Hamas kinailaumu Israel.
Ofisi ya habari ya serikali ya Gaza inayoendeshwa na Hamas ilisema vifo vipya hivyo vimeongeza idadi ya waandishi wa habari waliouwawa katika mashambulzii ya Israeli kufikia 165 tangu vita kuanza Oktoba 7.
Shambulizi la Israeli huko Gaza kulipiza kisasi lilianza siku hiyo hiyo kwa kushambulia kwa mabomu na limeendelea kwa miezi tisa pamoja na uvamizi wa ardhini ambapo mamlaka za afya Palestina zinasema imeuwa zaidi ya watu 38,000 na kujeruhi zaidi ya watu 80,000. - Reuters
