President william ruto has told newly sworn in cabinet secretaries to focus on the implementation of programmes and policies that will transform the lives of Kenyans. Speaking during a joint session of Cabinet and Principal Secretaries at state house he warned them against engaing in corrutption and aksed them not to waste the opportunity accorded to them. The president defended the inclusion of of some members of the opposition saying the broad-based government was to unite the country and rally all Kenyans behind the country's transformation journey.
