Universities comply with President Ruto’s directive

    Over 100,000 new admission letters have been issued to students who are expected to join university in September after President William Ruto ordered the withdrawal of previous admission letters. Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba has confirmed that the new letters contain only the Household Contribution towards the total cost of the degree programmes. In the meantime the Head of State has affirmed that the government will cater for between 60% - 90% of the total cost of the degree programme.
