Gachagua under fire over remarks targeting Waiguru and Mbarire

DCP party leader Rigathi Gachagua is tonight facing backlash from a section of residents in Kirinyaga, Embu, and Nakuru, following his attacks on kirinyaga governor anne waiguru and her Embu counterpart Cecily Mbarire. Gachagua, while touring the two counties last week, claimed the governors were being used by president William Ruto to split the Mount Kenya vote ahead of the 2027 elections, urging residents to shun them.
