The Universities Education fund has attributed the widespread categorization of students from needy families in the wrong bands to data entry mistakes on the students’ part. The fund’s CEO Geoffrey Monari however says the Universities fund is open to appeals and has encouraged students from needy families who were banded in the wrong category to lodge an appeal immediately.
