Nairobi water supply will increase following the completion of the Northern Water Collector Tunnel.

The tunnel will feed Nairobi city with 140 million liters of water daily.

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja said he is very proud that the water rationing schedule will be relaxed today.

Sakaja says engineers from NWSC are conducting rigorous tests on the water to ensure it meets the highest standards.

The Northern Water Collector Tunnel will supply Nairobi with 85% of its water needs.
